If you have been with us for any amount of time you have likely heard of Jesus Maria. About 35,000 people live in this city. Although the town is safe and modern, it is still plagued by drugs and alcohol, which opens a big door to work with people overcoming these addictions. There are plenty of churches, both Catholic and protestant, but most evangelical churches preach the prosperity gospel, which has resulted in a suspicious local attitude towards most Christians.

The church plant in Jesus Maria has a big plan:

to knock on every door in town, and get a Bible and gospel literature into every home. They'll kick off 2020 with the 750 homes closest to their church building, but they need $3,800 to do so. Your $12 gift will buy the Bibles and gospel tracts that will be distributed house by house over the next year.

Although you may not have given in the past, this is the perfect chance to get involved - if every one of our partners (you!) gave just $12, it would put a Bible, church invitation, and gospel tract into all 750 homes.

Jesus Maria is a town just north of Córdoba, Argentina, that was without a Biblical church for many years. The hunger for the truth of the Word was evident from the moment Pastor Ale and his wife Soledad began a Bible study in Jesus Maria. Their small group eventually became a small congregation as neighbors, coworkers, cousins, and spouses came to know Christ. Now their congregation has about 50-60 people each Sunday, a thriving Sunday school ministry, 2 small group studies for couples, and a weekly youth group. You’ll have to double check the address before you go, because the rapid growth has caused them to outgrow their space and move quite a few times! They continue to rent space for Sunday mornings, but are ready to take the next steps.
