As Peruvian theologian Samuel Escobar has put it, missions now flow “from everywhere to everywhere.” Now, some of the most important cross-cultural mission endeavors are led by missionaries from Latin America, the Philippines, Korea, Africa, India, and China.

The most important resource for world missions continues to be faithful leaders. The key to missions is still found in the advice the Apostle Paul gave Timothy, “what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men…”

World missions hinge on training faithful leaders.

In the United States, when a believer hears the call to begin serious theological training they have many options at their disposal. But this is not the case in the Spanish-speaking world. There are very few seminaries and those who hear the call to ministry are financially unable to uproot their families and move to one of the few seminaries to be educated and trained.
